Vyaghri Haritaki

Definition:

Vyāghrī Harītakī is a semisolid preparation made with the ingredients given in the
Formulation composition.:- Kantakārī API (Solanum surattense ), ala API for decoction Water , Harītakī API Terminalia chebula , Guda API (Jaggery) , Śunthī API (Zingiber officinale ), Marica API (Piper nigrum ), Pippalī API (Piper longum ), Tvak API (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) , Patra (Tvakpatra API) (Cinnamomum tamala ), Elā (Sūksmailā API)( Elettaria cardamomum ) , Nāgakeśara API (Mesua ferrea) , Pusparasa (Madhu API) (Honey).

Description:
A blackish brown, semisolid sticky paste with bitter and astringent taste and spicy
pleasant odour.

Therapeutic uses: Kāsa (cough); Pratiśyāya (Coryza); Śvāsa (Asthma); Svaraksaya
(aphasia); Pīnasa (Chronic rhinitis / Sinusitis); Rājayaksmā (Tuberculosis).
 

Dose: 5 to 15 g.


Anupāna: Water, Milk.
