Sūranāvaleha is a semisolid avaleha preparation made with the ingredients in the
Formulation composition given below: Sūrana API Amorphophallus campanulatus , Jala API for decoction Water , Ghrta (Goghrta API) Clarified butter from Cow’s milk , Khanda API Sugar candy , Pippalī API Piper longum , Śunthī API Zingiber officinale , Jīraka (Śveta jīraka API) Cuminum cyminum , Dhānyaka API Coriandrum sativum , Patra (Tejapatra API ) Cinnamomum tamala , Elā (Śūksmailā API) Elettaria cardamomum , Marica API Piper nigrum , Tvak API Cinnamomum zeylanicum , Ksaudra (Madhu API) Honey.

Semi solid, malleable, dark brown, sticky preparation with spicy odour and pungent,
sweet taste

Therapeutic uses: Mandāgni (dyspepsia); Mūdhavāta (obstructed movement of Vāta
dosa); Arsa (piles) etc.
Dose: 20 g daily in divided doses.

Anupāna: Water, Milk.
