Pancasama Curna

Definition:
Pancasama Cūrna is a powder preparation made with the ingredients in the Formulation composition given
below: Śunthī API (Zingiber officinale) , Harītakī API (Terminalia chebula) , Krsnā (Pippalī API) (Piper longum) , Trivrt API (Ipomoea turpethum) , Sauvarcala lavana API Black salt.

Description:
Pale brown, smooth powder, odour pungent and taste slightly pungent with tingling
sensation. The powder completely pass on through sieve number 44 and not less than 50
per cent pass on through sieve number 85.

Therapeutic uses: Ādhmāna (flatulence with gurgling sound); Śūla (pain / colic); Āmavāta (Rheumatism);
Arśa (Piles); Udara roga (diseases of abdomen), Vibandha (constipation).
 

Dose: 3 to 5 g daily in divided dose.
 

Anupāna: Warm water.
