Definition:
Navāyasa Cūrna is a powder preparation made with the ingredients in the Formulation
composition given below:- Śunthī API (Zingiber officinale) , Marica API (Piper nigrum) , Pippalī API (Piper longum) , Harītakī API (Terminalia chebula) , Bibhītaka API (Terminalia bellirica) , Āmalakī API (Phyllanthus emblica) (Emblica officinalis) , Mustā API (Cyperus rotundus) , Vidanga API (Embelia ribes) , Citraka API (Plumbago zeylanica) , Ayoraja (Lauha bhasma) (30 Puti).
Description:
Reddish-brown powder with pungent odour and spicy, pungent taste. All pass through
sieve number 44 and not less than 50 per cent pass through sieve number 85.
Therapeutic uses:Pandu (anaemia); Kāmalā (jaundice); Prameha (metabolic
disorder); Pīdaka (carbuncle); Hrdroga (heart disease); Kustha (diseases of
Skin); Arśa (piles).
Dose: 2 g daily in divided doses.
Anupāna: Honey, Water.
