Definition:
Kalyānāvaleha is a semisolid preparation made with the composition : Haridrā API (Curcuma longa), Vacā API (Acorus calamus), Kustha API (Saussurea lappa), Pippalī API (Piper longum), Śunthī API (Zingiber officinale), Ajājī (Śveta Jīraka API) (Cuminum cyminum), Ajamodā API (Apium leptophyllum), Yastīmadhu (Yastī API) (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Saindhava lavana API Rock salt , Sarpi (Goghta API ) Clarified butter from cow’s milk

Description:
Semisolid paste, yellowish-brown in color with pungent odour, astringent and salty taste

Therapeutic uses: Svarabheda (hoarseness of voice); Mūkatā (Aphasia).
 

Dose: 12 g daily in divided doses.
 

Anupāna: Water.
