Definition:
Avipattikara Cūrna is a powder preparation made with the ingredients in the Formulation
composition given below.:- Śunthī API (Zingiber officinale) , Marica API (Piper nigrum) , Pippalī API (Piper longum) , Harītakī API (Terminalia chebula) , Bibhītaka API (Terminalia bellirica) , Āmalakī API (Phyllanthus emblica) , Mustā API (Cyperus rotundus) , Vidā lavana , Vidanga API(Embelia ribe)s , Elā (Sūksmailā API) (Eletteria cardamomum) , Patra (Tejapatra API) Cinnamomum tamala , Lavanga API (Syzygium aromaticum) , Trivrt API (Ipomoea turpethum) , Śarkarā API (Cane sugar.)

Description:
Light brown, fine powder, odour characteristic of clove, with a sweet, spicy and
pungent taste. The powder completely pass on through sieve number 44 and not less than
50 per cent pass on through sieve number 85.

Therapeutic uses: Agnimāndya (digestive impairment); Malabandha (constipation);
Amlapitta (Hyperacidity); Arśa (Piles); Mūtrabandha (retention of urine); Prameha
(metabolic disorder).


Dose: 10 g daily in divided doses.


Anupāna: Honey, Water, Milk.
