Definition:

A fine powder prepared from, Rasa (parada) suddha, Gandhaka suddha, Lauha bhasam, Abhra (abhraka) bhasam, Sulva (tamra) bhasam, Haritaki, Bibhitaka, Amalaki, Silajatu suddha, Pura (guggulu) suddha, Citra (eranda), Tikta (katuka) and Nimba yrksa dalambha (nimbu) svarasa.

Description:

Smooth powder, black in colour, odour; faint and bitter in taste.

Therapeutic uses:

Jirnajvara; Medodosa; Kustha and Yakrtvikara

Dosage:

250 to 500 mg

Anupana:

Ardraka svarasa, Honey, Nimba svarasa, Water and Milk.
